As many of you know, I work full-time at Ferraz Shawmut in Newburyport, MA as a Marketing Communications Supervisor. Much of my job is about planning and orchestrating marketing communications for company's brand campaign as well as for numerous product launches. The really fun part, for me though, is designing all the marketing communications materials. I just love to design!

 

Working on a Book About How to Set Up a Home Art Studio

Now who hasn't thought about writing a book someday? I guess I'm no different! In my spare time, I've been working on a book loosely titled Setting Up Your Art Studio: A Guide for Studio Painters and Other Artists.

 

Illustrating Licensed Art for Manufacturers

Earlier this year, I also began working on a series of commercial art illustrations that I hope to license to manufacturers and other interested parties. It all began with a few froggy character illustrations, which I now offer as a series of greeting cards via my Etsy store. Since manufacturers have varied topical needs, I've also been working on illustrations for other popular licensing themes such as gardening, holiday art, cooking, birding, and more. I hope to post some samples of these soon.
